Introducing our latest creation – the Batik Scarf on Cotton Voile, a fusion of tradition and innovation. Crafted with precision using the batik wax screen technique and dyed by hand, each scarf features our new signature motif, a testament to the artistry of this new batik-making technique.

Key Features:

1. Signature Batik Artistry: 

   The designs begin as a printed vector transferred onto a plastic film. The artisans then take an organza screen built by hand, soak it in an emulsion, and bring it into the dark room where a focused light will transfer the design onto the screen – a process likened to developing film. 

   Using a trade secret recipe of cool wax, trained artisans will swipe the screen back and forth. It is a laborious group effort that’s often done by 3-4 artisans. 

   Our batik scarves are a canvas of creativity, showcasing a unique motif drawn using the innovative batik wax screen technique. The result is a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary skill.

2. Hand-Dyed Exclusivity: Immerse yourself in exclusivity with every piece. While the signature motif remains constant, the colour palette is a bespoke masterpiece for each scarf. Hand-dyed manually, these scarves are truly one-of-a-kind, ensuring you stand out with every wear.

3. Cotton Voile Comfort: Crafted from soft and breathable cotton voile material, our scarves are perfect for everyday wear. The lightweight fabric provides comfort without compromising on style.

5. Care Instructions:To preserve the vibrancy of colours and the integrity of the fabric, we recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent.  If time is limited, you can place the scarf in a laundry bag and machine wash on a normal cycle. However, for optimal longevity, hand washing is preferred.  Line dry in the shade and iron on high heat if needed.
